Background:
Paulerspury Church of England Primary School founded in 1861, Paulerspury Primary is housed in a Victorian stone building, which had a modern extension built in 1968. Accommodation includes five classrooms, an ICT suite, modern hall and library. In 1999, the playground was redesigned to provide further play opportunities, along with a large sunsail, human sundial and modern herbaceous plants. Pupils are offered a broad and balanced education and additional music tuition is also available. After-school sports clubs take place each week and strong links have been established with the parish church and the Paulerspury Players. The school is supported by a dedicated governing body and a very active friends association. A qualified Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher works with individuals and small groups for four hours a week and teaching assistants provide support in mainstream classes.
