Background:
Beanfield Junior School is attached to Beanfield Infant School. The Junior School is a two storey building with twelve classrooms, a large hall and office accommodation. One classroom has become an IT suite which has ten networked computers, although each classroom also has its own PC. The school has a home/school agreement and a regular pattern of homework. An elected School Council meets regularly. Extra curricular activities include arts, music, sport, french and booster classes, and a Masterclass for children in Year 6. The school aims to each child as an individual and a valued member of the school community.
