Most recent additions include art and drama facilities with a gallery, science and mathematics suites and a new artificial turf pitch and changing room, a music centre that opened in September 2005. Other facilities of the school include: IT suites and splendid provision for careers, libraries and the sixth form. The popular multi-cultural school strives for all round excellence and has twice obtained the Schools Curriculum Award. Extra-curricular clubs form an important part of school life and included drama, dance, choirs, orchestra, wind band, string group, chess, French, environmental society and sports. The school aims to encourage its pupils to think well of themselves as capable of excellence and to aim high.
