Background:
The school is housed in a building which dates from 1850 but which has been extended over the years. It is located at the 'end of a lane away from traffic'. There is a hard play area with a field, and 'wide rural views'. The school'serves Little Harrowden, Great Harrowden and Orlingbury villages, and one third of the pupils travel from North Wellingborough. A special educational needs (SEN) coordinator arranges small group work or individual teaching for SEN pupils, although they are also taught in normal classes. The school has a 'strong' tradition of music, football, chess, netball, swimming and table tennis. The school is cureently over-subscribed, receiving two applications for every available place.
