Background:
Hackleton Primary School was founded in 1875 and additions were made to the original buildings in the early 1970s. There are now six permanent and one mobile classroom, which is currently being replaced by an extension to the school building alongside extensive playing fields. A New ICT suite, built in 2001 has enhanced provision and there is a new out-of-school club on site. It provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: football, netball, art and music clubs. The school has strong links with the local community and the School Association organises social and fundraising events. The school provides a variety of extra-curricular activities are offered to pupils including: football, netball, choir, art club and games club. The school aims to provide the best quality education possible and giving experience of excellence in a happy caring environment.
